There’s no better welcome than a plumeria lei (or two) and the sound of waves 100 meters from your lanai. Thank you Four Seasons Hualalai for always making us feel like we’re coming home.
Time for a sunset swim and a little downtime in one of our favorite pools in Hawaii. (All pools should have an illuminated infinity edge and waterfall!) Thank you Four Seasons Oahu and Maris Collective for another wonderful stay and trunk show. We’ll be back soon!
Back in our beach shack for our last day at the Four Seasons Oahu. Thank you to the talented Maris Collective team here for always creating the loveliest Via Eden “vignettes,” often late at night or before dawn! Scroll to see @natnkim’s beautiful work and come in person to see us and enjoy the views.
So happy to be back at our Ko Olina “office” for the next two days at the Four Seasons Oahu’s Wili Wili boutique. Come visit us on your way to the 🏖 and 🌊. We will be here today and tomorrow from 8 am until sunset. Hope to see you!
We’re back in the NYC cold, but glad we’re indoors at the Met Breuer. We saw the Lucio Fontana exhibit “On The Threshold.“ It’s the first time in four decades that a major survey of his work has been done in America. Loved seeing the evolution of his art from his extraordinary sculpture to his iconic “Cuts” works.
Just when we were settling into our #puntamitalife and getting used to commuting everywhere by golf cart, we have to leave 😩. Thank you @fspuntamita for a wonderful, soul-refreshing stay. We loved it all: our beautiful villa, the sunsets, the Mexican hospitality, the always delicious food (including our twice daily fix of guacamole), learning how to make Mexican chocolate, the daily 3 pm poolside visit from the ice cream cart, our friendly iguana neighbor, the beaches and more. Can’t wait to come back!
We always pack light and are usually glad we did when we see long waits at the baggage claim. However, Mexico is one of those places you need a massive piece of check-in luggage (or five) for all the things you want to buy. These #nofilterneeded, hand-embroidered pillowcases and heart keychains (chosen by our tween travel companion) fit perfectly in our carry on.
We ❤️Mexico for so many reasons: its physical beauty, the warmth and energy of its people, the incredible food. But one of our favorite reasons is its rich artisanal traditions and continued cultivation of artists and artisans. We especially love this simple but striking installation of Oaxacan handmade dolls.
We’re sensing a recurring theme: hammocks = happiness.
